BREKKIE BOWLS
Healthy alternatives to the basic and boring cereals like coco pops, special K, fruit loops etc. They are all packed full of hidden sugars which is really bad for our health, spikes our blood sugar levels and will make us tired shortly after the sugar rush. These recipes include my favourite healthy cereals but you can use ones of your own preferences or even make your own! I recommend buying cereals with a health star rating of 4.5 of higher because ones with 4 stars still contain a large amount of sugar.

FRUIT & NUT MIX
Choice of dried fruit and nut mix (loving earth, the field wholefood, local supermarket)
Strawberries
Blueberries
1/2 cup almond milk
BANANA BREAD BOWL
This is a super quick recipe! Just take out a slice of the choc banana bread and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds to create a simple but tasty meal.
1 slice of banana bread
1 cup of yogurt (I use YoPro or chobani)
Fruits/ nuts/ seeds to top (strawberries, almond butter, goji berries)
Other toppings: fruit and nut mix, cocoa nibs, banana, dried fruit

2-3T Chia seeds
3/4 cup milk
1T peanut butter
1/2 cup mixed berries
Optional: vanilla, natural sweetener, protein powder
Topped with dried fruit and nuts

OAT & CHIA PUDDING
2T oats
2T chia seeds
1/4 cup buckinis
1 cup milk of choice
Vanilla (essence, powder, protein)
Natural sweetener (maple, honey, rice malt)
Cocoa powder
Maca powder

Optional: nuts, seeds, nut butters, fruit

Leave in jar overnight or cook on stovetop
CHOCOLATE CEREAL
1 cup milk
Cocoa coated buckinis (loving earth or found in health food stores)
Fruit of choice
Nuts/ seeds of choice
Coconut flakes

1 serve of yogurt
1tbsp nut butter
Fresh fruit
Dried fruit
Chocolate buckinis
PROTEIN POT
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flax seeds
1/2 cup water/ milk (add more as needed)
Vanilla protein powder OR vanilla esssence
1 tbsp hemp seeds
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Dash of maple syrup
1/4 cup quinoa flakes OR oats
Fruit of choice (I used mango and strawberries)
