How to make oats quickly

You may think of oats as a weekend breakfast because it takes a lot of time but it can be really simple. Here are a few methods I use;

1. Boil a kettle when you wake up,

Measure out how many oats you want and pout them into a bowl,

Once the kettle is finished boiling, pour the water in the bowl until the oats are just fully covered.

(If you want, use half boiled water and half milk to get a source of calcium).

2. Measure out the oats and water/ milk,

Pout it into a pot and put it on a hotplate on the highest heat,

Whilst your waiting for them to cook, prepare the toppings,

Once the oats have absorbed all the liquid, scoop them into a bowl.

3, Measure out the oats and water/ milk.

Pour them into a microwave safe bowl,

Microwave it for 40 seconds, take it out and stir.

Keep microwaving it for 20 more seconds until it is cooked the way you like.
