Oats:
Measure out the oats, water/milk, put it in a bowl or jar and store it in the fridge overnight. When you wake up, all you have to do is put on some toppings and your good to go. (You can use any oat recipe to do this).
If your cooking them over the stove, while they cook, prepare the toppings.
Smoothies:
Buying frozen fruit/ veg is a great way to save time because all you have to do it pour it in the blended and add liquid.
Prepare the ingredients (e.g. taking green leafy bits of the strawberries, peel/ chop the banana, cut the fruits), store them in a contain and put them in the freezer (if there is a banana involved) or fridge. Take out in the morning and pour into the blender.
Toast: Toast is a great option if you are feeling very rushed in the morning. Instead of using plain old Vegemite, Promite or jam, switch to ( for e.g.) a nut or seed butter and add fruit or yogurt.
Other breakfast bowls: Simply putting some granola or healthy cereal into a bowl, adding yogurt and fruit is a delicious and quick breakfast.
Before you go to bed, take out a slice of banana bread, pancakes or any other baked good from the freezer, put it in the fridge and when you wake up add fruit, yogurt, nuts and any other toppings.
